I had the latest version installed. However after reinstall the issue is gone. Thank you!! This was fine until recently. I am now being told my promo ends in a few days! This was included as part of my Avg Ultimate purchase, but no longer recognizes my account status unless I log off and log in or uninstall and reinstall. Also, be aware the auto clean features will wipe photos, downloads, game and app settings, etc. Clunky because of the review and popup Ads.
Why did i buy this? Good when it works, but update would not find my subscription, not for the first time. Uninstalled, re-installed, no joy. Really frustrating and suggests a degree of sloppiness, given the app often reverts to free version for subscribers after updates.
There are better options available that work silently in the background. Clearly, 'avg ultimate' is just a stepping stone for avg to try to sell you even more products. My biggest problem is battery life and charging is very slow. If this app can help with this problem then ill buy the app just waiting to see. Purchased via the website. Trusted and consistent service. Using AVG for years on all devices. Problematic since past 2 updates. Now won't stay open. Disappointing - usef yo be reliable. Had similar issues with AVG Antivirus, but this appears to have settled. Memory space is in short supply on devices more often as new Apps are developed which don't have the option of being moved onto external SD card drives. This app gives you constant advice on how to optimise your device memory. Thumbs up from me. If only it could move downloaded apps that don't have permission to be moved onto the SD memory to free up more space, that would make this app far more attractive than it already is, in fact it would then be in a class of it's own.
I used to like it, but it no longer Keeps apps in hibernation. Like, 80 apps and stuff that used to not even run back then, id hibernate them, then they would pop right back up without me even opening them, like YouTube. Makes no sense. I gave the app 2 ratings because I have continuously closed down app.
It would be great if the app can be design to close down automatically. VPN is nothing but fraud.
